We teach CWA trainers to run programs in political economy and democracy, and are putting together a program to assist fossil fuel workers in California transition to new jobs as oil refineries and drilling wind down there. We&#8217;re also working with the Barry Commoner Center and Queens College in New York to develop and educational and tracking program for workers cutting countertops and unfortunately developing the debilitating lung disease silicosis. <a href=\"https:\/\/thelaborinstitute.org\/?page_id=46\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"46\">You can get details on these programs by clicking here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Labor Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization.
